We live on 23+ acres of mostly level land near the town of Cave Junction. We currently have about an acre of land in active cultivation with deer fencing and irrigation. The land has been improved and developed by present land stewards for over 15 years now, and the founding landowner has 25 years of intensive agricultural and rural country living experience. Interested folk must have very good communication/social skills, (experience living and/or working in collectives a plus), a strong desire to steward a very special chunk of land, and lots of energy, talent, and/or experience to grow food for subsistence, charity, and/or market…
Affordable semi-shared housing is available. We are progressive-minded folks socially, politically, and environmentally, and grow according to strict Organic standards. We are not presently set up for or interested in having livestock of any kind. (This could be negotiable down the line)
would like to share the land with people who are interested in stewarding the land, producing food, and giving back to the community and the planet.
Transferring ownership to individuals or entity that promises to extend the vision, values, and practices that hold this land as sacred and supportive of sustainable, ecological, and community-based living
Homesteading, Subsistence Farming
Water rights for 7 acres, Water-table fed pond that never drops more than a foot, have actively irrigated with drip for over 15 years

Potentially everything and anything you could possibly need, we've been doing this here for 15+ years... all equipment and infrastructure negotiable but must be used and maintained by capable hands
I have been steeped in values for most of my adult life that are embedded in the notion that radical social transformation of our society is desirable, necessary and possible. As such, I have been directly involved with and continue to support various movements for social justice, as well as ecological restoration and protection. Additionally, I have been involved with forming, building and sustaining community organizations for over thirty years. While I have lots of reasons to be jaded and cynical, I maintain a strong commitment to building relationships built on foundations of respect, empathy, and good communication.
