Small property in the hills of Scappoose

Description

30 minutes outside Portland, this gem of a property is a private and magical oasis. It’s a long bumpy driveway to get up here from a frontage road on the highway and it’s nice and secluded.

Over 20 acres of forest. About 2 acres of flat, sunny, south facing land with a handful of apple trees and one pear tree. There is an 8’x56’ raised bed with amended soil. It currently has a cover crop growing in it. Ready to be tilled in and planted.

Depending on your needs you could use a small part or most of the ~2 acres. Most of the land hasn’t been farmed besides the raised bed and a 5’x50’ richly amended bed.

There is ample water even through hot summers.

There is a 12×100’ high tunnel that could be restored. I have plastic for it but it’s currently bare.

Prosuction cut flowers, medicinal herbs, or organic vegetables could be good choices for the space. I don’t have the time and energy to do the farming myself but I’d like to be involved and help out, or can be more hands off.

There is a 5th wheel camper (36’ with slide outs) that I would like to rent out, or bring your own tiny home. There’s a few of us living here (in the house and a camper) and it would be great to add someone to our little community up here.

Looking forward to hearing from you!
