Lease 40 Acres in Eugene, Lane County, Oregon

Description

Looking to develop a community of small land-based business enthusiast(s) who support one another where possible, but are able to function on their own as well.  Our main emphasis is supporting people who incorporate a sustainable / regenerative / permaculture-based approach to their operations by providing space and communal resources.

The hope is to find natural fits between the businesses on the property where one business input or output can support another. Possible business development ideas may include:

  • Soil Regeneration Research
  • Plant or Tree Nursery
  • Perennial Garden(s)
  • Annual Vegetable, Herb or Flower Garden(s)
  • Beekeeping (apiculture)
  • Poultry or other small animal husbandry
  • Limited larger animal husbandry
  • Mushroom Cultivation
  • Aquaponics or Hydroponics
  • Tiny House Construction
  • Your idea here!

There are two year round springs (one has been dug out to host a pond), a barn, guest house and an occupied primary home on the property. Perimeter fencing is rough with no interior fencing. Plans to set up a greenhouse and fenced plant nursery are underway for 2024.

Lease is flexible. What area of focus are you interested in developing? Do you need to live on the property or just have some space?
