Young Family looking to build an Organic, Sustainable Farm

Land Seeker Description

My name is Anne and my partner, Dylan, and our two year old daughter, Piper, are looking for an opportunity to build and farm a small scale, organically certified, sustainable farm. We would like to see bees, goats, chickens, a large garden, and potentially mushrooms and some other small projects come to fruition.

We ideally would like to be in the Hood River area or somewhere in proximity to Portland, so we can travel for farmer’s markets, as well as, enjoy an art and museum scene with our daughter in our time away from the farm.

Thank you for your time.

What features of the property are essential?

Electricity, water, and storage would be a great start!

Describe your farming experience

Ample gardening experience.
Beekeeping classes.
Built chicken coops.
Have spent a lot of time and effort planning what we would like to see.
Own a small microgreens farm (indoor).
Dylan is a certified mechanic.
Anne has a finance degree and would be able to do all accounting, job costing, and record keeping.

Are you currently farming?
