Hi,

I’m seeking a couple of acres with a house in the willamette valley – within 45 minutes of Sandy, Oregon.

I want to small farm, have chickens and goats and build up a small farming business to eventually help support my family.

What features of the property are essential?

Describe your farming experience

Started just with a small garden, then have been taking farming classes through the extension center, started building out chicken coop, removing blackberries, accquiring plants through community and local fundraising efforts. Taking more classes on farm management and community engagement. Every year planting new things, expanding growing and learning from mistakes.

What are your short term goals for the land

What are your long term goals

functional orchard, established CSA, Fiber arts connections made. Mushroom business working. Be able to hire a couple of people. If I was able to get more space then community space made available

3 bedroom, 1+ bathroom, excellent internet access necessary for partners job.

What will you do as a farmer to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for everyone on your farm and in your community?
