Seeking Unique Opportunity to Relocate Mushroom Farm

?

Land Seeker Description

Who We Are:
We are a dedicated couple looking for a small amount farmland with water and power, (ideally) on the Oregon coast, to relocate and expand our small medicinal mushroom farm while integrating it into a larger permaculture system. I am an herbalist passionate about cultivating and wildcrafting medicinal plants, and I would love the space to grow a diverse range of herbs alongside our mushrooms.

I also have experience applying for and receiving grants for farming research projects, and I’m always looking for ways to innovate and contribute to sustainable agricultural practices. My partner has extensive experience as a property caretaker and maintenance worker, and we both have a strong background in natural farming, land stewardship, and ecological restoration.

We also have an interest in keeping bees and eventually incorporating livestock into our farm system in a way that aligns with regenerative agriculture principles.

What We’re Looking For:
We are seeking farmland where we can:

  • Expand our medicinal mushroom cultivation (indoor/outdoor growing potential)
  • Grow a variety of medicinal herbs for use in herbal products and remedies
  • Implement permaculture principles and sustainable growing methods
  • Explore opportunities for beekeeping and livestock integration
  • Potentially collaborate with an existing farm or community-driven project
  • Live on-site or nearby

What We Offer:
We bring a diverse skill set in:

  • Herbalism & Medicinal Plant Cultivation – Growing, wildcrafting, and processing medicinal herbs for teas, tinctures, and other remedies
  • Mushroom Farming – Cultivating gourmet and medicinal mushrooms
  • Farm Research & Grants – Experience applying for and receiving grants to support agricultural research and innovation
  • Animal Care – Experienced with horses and interested in beekeeping and livestock management
  • Property & Farm Maintenance – Hands-on experience with general repairs, infrastructure upkeep, and land management
  • Sustainable Agriculture – Knowledge of permaculture, soil health, composting, and regenerative farming practices

We are open to lease agreements, work-trade opportunities, or other creative arrangements that support long-term land stewardship. Our goal is to build a thriving, sustainable farm that harmonizes with the landscape and contributes to the local food and herbal medicine economy.

If you have available farmland or know of an opportunity that might be a good fit, we would love to connect!
