We intend to promote a just and sustainable food system for the Upper Willamette. Toward this vision we’ll establish a new Farm Incubator program. Our vision is to aid new farmers overcome obstacles of establishing new regenerative farms by offering infrastructure, education, experience and facilitation. The Incubator will cooperate with farm educational programs, soil and water conservation organizations, land and ag trusts, and food justice advocacy groups to negotiate pathways for new farmers.
We seek (initially) to purchase 5 – 20 tillable acres with water rights, to site the Incubator program. Housing, animal or equipment shelter and fencing infrastructure are desired but not essential.
