Hello! My husband and I are interesting in starting our own organic family farm/homestead. We are also interested in creating a dog boarding facility on site. We are looking for land that we will be able to build a home on or put a manufactured home on. We will be selling our products as a CSA and to local farmers markets and potentially our local co-op. My husband has worked for local conventional farmers and nurseries for over 15 years and has much experience with planting and cultivating crops both manually and with equipment. We are looking to start relatively small and are looking for around 10-15 acres. We are only interested in purchase and not leasing.
Water rights would be preferred. Amenities like electric, barns, and irrigation structures would be also preferred but we are willing to put in the work to obtain these if absent. We would like a good mix on the property ideally with pasture and some woodland but are willing to consider any property that can be farmed on. Certified organic would also be preferred but not required.

We would like to have an orchard and large vegetable garden. We would also begin raising our own livestock initially for our families consumption, but may add later for public sale. We are seeking a sustainable family homestead initially while also selling produce to local vendors and CSA shares. We would also like to use a small portion of the land for dog boarding. Likely 0.5-1 acre.
We would like to have a sustainable homestead and sell organic produce as CSA shares, to the local farmers markets, local restaurants, and local food co-ops. We are most interested in vegetables, but would like to have our own bees and livestock. We may end up offering these things to the public eventually.
We need housing for our family of 6. We are willing to build or place new manufactured home on the land.
To contact a land seeker, you must first create a land listing and have it approved by our staff. Thank you.
