I am looking to purchase land to farm and conserve for future generations. My family and I have a dream of building or taking over a farm to practice a biodiverse, sustainable way of farming to provide nutrient dense food for the community. We plan to have multiple operations, from beekeeping, to an orchard, to livestock. I have a degree in Landscape Technology from PCC and am in the process of acquiring my Horticulture degree from OSU. I am currently an irrigation technician.
Water rights, spring, running water (river, creek, etc.)some wooded
I worked on Cornell Farm for three years and have a degree related in many ways to farming. My brother also worked on farms in Hawaii for a number of years.
To revitalize land that needs it or to continue building soil on land. Continuing existing operations and starting new ones that are beneficial to the ecosystem of the farm and business. Incorporating new buildings and beginning to restore forest is also in the plans.
To continue to grow to a self sustaining farm, trading with neighboring farms for products we may not have. Providing food for not only my family, but the community around the farm, including restaurants, families, and grocers.
Temporarily we have an RV that we could live in. We would like to build our own home soon after arriving.
To contact a land seeker, you must first create a land listing and have it approved by our staff. Thank you.
