Seeking to Lease or Purchase a Country Property With/Without House in Southern Oregon

Land Seeker Description

My family is looking to find a country property with or without a house in Jackson or Josephine County. We are willing to lease, rent to own, or possibly buy. We would like enough land to have a small hobby farm with animals.

What features of the property are essential?

The essentials would be water and an on grid house or space for off grid cabin build. We can adjust to not having out buildings and the perfect soil.

Describe your farming experience

My family has done backyard farming. We also were part of a cooperative with other families that worked on 10 acres for 3 years.

Are you currently farming?

What are your short term goals for the land

Are interests are to use the farm to provide enough food to cut out going to the grocery store. We would like to sell our abundance to local restaurants or possibly have a vegetable stand to sell to our neighbors.

What are your long term goals

Our long term plans are to become totally self sufficient. We would like to provide for all our needs right from the farm. We are trying to simplify our lives and encourage others to do the same.

Describe your housing needs

We are a family of 4. We would need at least 2 bedrooms. We are also interested in building an off grid cabin if an on grid one is not available.
