Seeking to Lease Creative Farming Land w/Housing: Acres in Oregon or Washington

Land Seeker Description

Hi! Thank you for posting your available acres/farm for lease! I’m seeking to lease a small parcel of land (at least 10 acres) including housing within the Oregon or Washington state region. Regarding crops, I am flexible. For example, I would like to cultivate a variety of herbs and mosses for essential oils, cannabis for CBD oil, mushrooms, chestnuts, and/or garlic for sale to the public. I would be open to tending goats and poultry, if they already exist on the property. I would also like to use this space for creating photography and art, by erecting an outdoor tent “studio.” If the house is a fixer-upper, that is fine – I can contribute to restoring the building. It is ideal to have internet access on the property. If not, I can find some solution. Let me know. If you are interested, let’s have a discussion and/or meet up!

A little about me:

Basics – non-smoker, no drinking, no toxic substances, no addictions, no crimes, quiet lifestyle, responsible, reliable, energetic

Hobbies – yoga, running, walking, fermenting foods, cooking, meditation, reading, art, writing

Career – New York University graduate (Bachelor’s), commercial photographer, fine artist (Maryland Institute College of Art), media/marketing, tech

Farming – please see below info

What features of the property are essential?

On-site sewer, potable water, well water, electricity

Describe your farming experience

Several of my family members own large horse ranches, and one owns a large vineyard in California. I've been around farms since my early teenage years. While I haven't participated in farming, I have successfully grown many herbs, meyer lemons, and other plants. I am very good with animals. I am familiar with composting practices. And I have 2 mentors to assist me with the planned crops.

Are you currently farming?

What are your short term goals for the land

I intend to raise the aforementioned crops and sell them via online storefronts including, but not limited to, Etsy while practicing art and photography for clients and for sale. I prefer if there is a barn or similar structure for agricultural use.

What are your long term goals

Long term goals include the cultivating the aforementioned crops, writing a book, and continuing photography. Potentially hiring staff, creating jobs or internships.

Describe your housing needs

Please offer a clean, insulated house that is at least 1,000 square feet or larger (ideally). I prefer if it has indoor plumbing, clean potable water, sewer water, electricity, internet, hard floors (or wool/natural carpet), garbage disposal (please advise), NO CATS, and free of pests. I am happy to make minor repairs or renovations.
