Land Seeker Description

My young family and I are intent on creating a pastured Poultry and grass fed beef operation. We want to “steer” away from commercial Agriculture and develop a healthier, better product.

Draft power!  We want to utilize little to no machinery, reducing our footprint as much as possible.

We believe in the quality of hard work  Initiave, Integrity, and dedication are just a few of our values. Having been recently discharged from the Marines and having been a wild land fire fighter, we are no strangers to hard work.

We value the non gmo and permaculture philosophy. We’ve learned from Joel Salatin and other permaculture enthusiasts.  Our primary goal is self sustainability.

We are in this for the long run. We are looking to be pre approved for a loan, but would prefer a lease to own/partnership/work trade arrangement.

We are entrepreneurs and know how to adapt to make money. Given the right amount of land we can turn it into an endless stream of possibilities.

We are previous home owners and current business owners, and understand how crucial it is to find a partner/employee/farm hand who you can trust. We can lead but also follow and are very easy to teach.

Husband (28) is a strong able body and a decent handyman. Wife (29) is even stronger with an amazing ability to turn dirt into a four course meal.  Daughter (4) sings and plays all day without an enemy in the world.  Son (1) loves to test how loud his voice can get and dance.

Young family ready to raise our kids the right way through a sustainable lifestyle while benifiting the agricultural community.

Small apiary.

What are your long term goals

Once the farm has been established, I would like to extend into philanthropy and use the farm to help struggling veterans and agritourism.

I would also want to establish a full size apiary with intent to sell honey crop and other hive products.

A large fruit and nut orchard.

Describe your housing needs

My family of four consisting of two young children would need property with a small home at least. We don’t need much and will intend to build an alternative home (strawbale, Cob etc.) if the option is available.
