I have over 15 years experience raising animals, managing land, and growing food, having been a certified Permaculture designer since 2011. Several of those years have been spent managing ranches, running community gardens, and providing food-growing education. I am looking for a place to call home to develop into a long-term farm for my family and small herd of Nigerian Dwarf goats.
I use organic and biodynamic practices and no-till methods. My plans include developing a self-sustaining homestead into a CSA and Dairy, incorporating education and agritourism when established.
If you have a piece of property that you would like to ensure goes to someone who will make choices to give back to the soil and promote biodiversity, I would love to speak with you.
I am hoping for at least a few acres with some flat land suitable for crops and some forest/forage/pasture for animals. Established fruit trees would be a bonus. Available housing would be lovely, but established utilities (power, septic or approval, and water) are vital. I prefer a well or spring to public water. I’m open to a variety of locations as I work remotely. I am relocating from Northern Idaho and would like to be somewhere with relatively less fire danger, anywhere along the coast or towards the Northwest of the state.
I would be interested in a purchase, owner carry, lease-to-own, etc.
Developed private water, electricity, and septic/approval are essential. Land suitable for annual crops will also be vital.

Short-term I would begin by developing the land into a homestead, establishing garden and pasture areas and expanding goat herd so it can sustain production. I would start fruit trees if no orchard were established along with berries and other perennials, securing bees and non-commercial poultry for family used during this time. I would then put in season extenders such as hoop or greenhouses while expanding established gardens and building soil quality before breaking into a CSA model, hopefully within 3 years. I would then work to expand this model while building a steady customer base in the community, hopefully qualifying for biodynamic or organic certification once garden areas are established. If in a suitable area, I may also consider a farm stand for selling produce, jams, cheeses, and honey.
After establishing a CSA program, I hope to expand into agritourism through hosting events, education, and community-centered CSA pickups.
I will need to live on site, either in established housing or in housing I provide. The amount I am comfortable investing in the property will depend on the quality and availability of housing, though I am happy anywhere from basic, utilities-developed land to a livable house. I am happy to take on a fixer-upper, though I would prefer any available housing to be immediately habitable if reflected in the lease or agreed-upon purchase price. An ideal home would have at least 2 bedrooms.
I elevate BIPOC voices, advocate for the marginalized, speak truth to power, and make choices that promote equity by creating spaces where safety is paramount. I listen to the needs of those around me while respecting others' freedom to choose their own path. I believe in holding space for communities by communities and hope to develop into a hub for mutual aid in my community.
