We are a young couple looking to establish a homestead on a local farm. Our farm vision is to sell homegrown and homemade products from the land.  We want to grow and create products made with love, and hard work! We want to use sustainable farming practices to help the earth and our community in a positive way.

What features of the property are essential?

We are open and willing to work on the property based on it's needs, but would prefer water rights, irrigation structures, barns/structures and electricity.

What are your short term goals for the land

1. Establish fruit tree orchards, vegetable and flower gardens. Start an Apiary for honey and poultry farm for eggs. Make products from crops, jams, honey, fresh eggs, baked goods. 2. Establish local presence in the community, OSU and neighboring farms and businesses. 3. Open farm stand/store to provide products to the community.

What are your long term goals

1.Seasonal experiences, tulip festivals, apple/fruit picking, corn/sunflower mazes, Xmas tree farm.
2. Establish cash crops, timber, grapes, hops, hazelnuts
3. Become staple in local community

Describe your housing needs

We would like to live on the property in a 2-3 bedroom house.

We would love to work with any farmer who wants to help realize our goals and dreams. We believe that all people are created equal and we live by the golden rule.
