After graduating with a Soil Science degree from Penn State in 2014, I began an internship with a non-profit organic farm in California that shaped the trajectory of my career path. My passion for regenerative agriculture has expanded over the last decade, as I have worked on numerous vegetable production farms, managed an organic CSA farm in Ohio, worked for the NRCS in Idaho, worked for one of the highest grossing small scale no-till farms in the country, helped managed a successful operation in Colorado that sold high quality produce to restaurants, and finally became the Director of Agriculture for a non-profit in the mountains of Colorado. I am excited for my next chapter, ultimately wanting to run my own business and set some roots down closer to family.
I am most interested in running a no-till vegetable operation. I am also interested in fruits and perennial production. Regeneratively farming the land and improving the quality of the soil is of top priority. Depending on where I find land will determine the market I desire. Possibilities include: direct to consumer through CSA and/or farmers market as well as restaurant sales. I am interested in producing nutrient dense food for the community I reside.
water rights, well, electricity
I have been farming for numerous operations in different regions of the U.S. since 2014. I currently live and most recently farmed in the mountains of Crested Butte, CO. I have worked on numerous for-profit and non-profit operations managing CSA distributions, internship programs and production operations.
I would like to start and grow a business that allows me to support myself, and over the years hire a team to grow with, all while improving the quality of the soil while efficiently growing nutrient dense food for the community.
Run a regenerative farming business that allows myself to live the life of my dreams with my family while caring for the land and community.
I am open to housing or no housing.
