Hello!
I am a former farm owner and recently sold a hobby farm in Tumalo to reorganize my finances and business plan.
I am seeking a prime location to start a farm cooperative space for homeschool students to come learn regenerative farming practices and sell their goods, as well as come learn and recreate during the day.
I have experience growing pumpkins, melons, squashes, peppers, tomatoes, leafy greens, herbs, and flowers. I have also raised and butchered meat rabbits for years, and have experience raising goats and chickens. My goal is to promote a student owned (and partially operated) farm venture with bees’ honey, flowers, produce, and livestock as our main commodities for sale.
I am open to partnering in any capacity that fully aligns vision and intention for helping students and community members become more self sufficient.
I can start as soon as possible and already have an experienced advisor and partner who has built many successful farm communities and projects, as well as a hand full of friends and parents wanting to collaborate and build this project.
Greenhouse. Private well or irrigation.
As stated above, I have owned and operated a hobby farm for five years in Tumalo.
I would like to facilitate student production of herbs, leafy greens, squashes and melons for children to sell and promote their own businesses to the community.
Ideally I would settle into a space where I can cultivate trees, nuts, and really delve deeper into regenerative farming practices. Investing in the soil is my priority and being able to do so on land that I could eventually purchase would be ideal.
I could live in my trailer, or not live on the property. I am flexible and open. I have one daughter who is five years old and a Newfoundland dog who is six years old.
Love the golden rule.
