Water rights, correct zoning to live and farm
My grandfather was a farmer himself in Northern Mexico. I grew up helping him around the farm and growing a love for nature. Throughout my childhood I always had a small garden, but it wasn't until I worked for my universities farm (The Stanford Farm) that I had my first real experience in farming. After graduating from Stanford with my bachelor and master degree I set out to put my knowledge into experience by working as a poultry manager for Devil's Gulch Ranch, a 65 acre ranch in Nicasio, CA. Currently, I work for Sungrounded Farm, an organic biointensive farm in Terrebonne, Oregon.
I hope to put my experience into practice and start a small vegetable farm for myself and provide for a couple CSA members.
My long term plans are to own land that I could live and start a full farm production. I hope to remain small and intensive, ideal land 1-2 acres.
I have a camper trailer and truck. I would need a parking space and place to safely park the camper trailer. Electricity and water access is appreciated but not necessary!
To contact a land seeker, you must first create a land listing and have it approved by our staff. Thank you.
