Land Seeker Description

I have been operating my farm since 2017 and have leased throughout this time. I am now searching for land to purchase where I can lay down some more permanent roots. My farming operation is a diversified mixed vegetable market style farm, I also grow cut flowers and medicinal/culinary herbs. I am looking for a piece of land with flat usable pasture and a small livable house. Well/septic. I plan to grow all organically and my crops typically are sold through a CSA program, farmers market and to the local food bank. I have been farming nearly a decade and can’t wait to have a piece of land to call my own!

What features of the property are essential?

Well, on site sewer, electricity, barn open pasture

Describe your farming experience

Start cultivating the soil and get back to selling to my typical sales outlets. Have a farm stand on the property. Create a diversified 2-3 acre operation. Offer workshops and educational classes, create community around sharing food together

What are your long term goals

Create systems that help save labor and money, plant lots of fruits trees, orchard, etc. build and grow my family.

Describe your housing needs

I am looking for a small home to live in or a property where I can eventually build a home. Some kind of barn, pole barn or structure is must as well as a working well, septic. Ideally I want a home that is livable so I can focus on building the farm

What will you do as a farmer to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for everyone on your farm and in your community?

As a farmer, I commit to creating a safe, inclusive space by honoring diverse identities, listening with humility, and fostering a community where everyone feels respected, seen, and valued—both on the land and at the table.
