My name is Golda and I am in a transition of leaving my corporate job for a more fulfilling career and lifestyle in small farming, permaculture and sustainability. I work part-time for (2) small farms in the Willamette Valley who provide organic food for my community and it has changed my life for the better. I have a dream of operating my own small CSA in NW Oregon or SW Washington and seeking land to do so. I am open to all arrangements including doing a work-trade, living on someone’s property and being a full-time farm hand, mentorship from an experienced farmer, leasing and/or purchasing land and more. Community, hard-work, being kind to one another and paying it forward are values that I hold close to me and I’m hoping to meet like-minded individuals.
Open to all opportunities. My partner and I are incredibly creative and optimistic we can make use and improve upon any piece of land we find.
I have only been farming since May 2022, but it has brought to life a passion for it I recently discovered. I am incredibly eager to learn more and continue on this path.
Gain more hands on experience working and running a small farm. Ideally to be mentored by a farmer who want's to pass along their knowledge. Establish a small, organic vegetable CSA in 1-2 years.
Homestead and become completely self-sufficient on our property implementing organic farming, foraging and permaculture principles. I hope to operate a thriving CSA that could employ a handful of people and provide them a living wage.
Currently live in an apartment in Gresham. I am open to commuting to a property within an hour's drive, or living on a property if arrangements are possible. Ideally my partner and I have a dream to homestead, farm sustainably and implement permaculture design where ever we end up.
Always get to know people based on the quality of their character first. We are all only human walking our own paths on this Earth. I welcome individuals from different backgrounds than myself; we have so much to learn from one another and diversity strengthens a community.
To contact a land seeker, you must first create a land listing and have it approved by our staff. Thank you.
