Seeking Partnership for Native Plant Nursery on 5 Acres or less around Portland

Land Seeker Description

I am a young professional in the environmental education sector interested in growing natives and restorative agricultural practices. I recently returned from the Peace Corps where I taught gardening and conservation and am currently working as an AmeriCorps Service Member teaching environmental science and conservation. While I don’t have formal training in agriculture, I do have experience in nurseries and gardening. Currently, the high school program with which I work is building a native plant nursery. We build rain gardens with natives nearly every week. Habitat restoration is a passion of mine and these opportunities have helped me express that passion and learn more about the practice. While I have learned a great deal from these jobs, I’m looking to learn more, specifically about planning and business within sustainable agricultural fields. I would love to work with you on bettering our community, the ecosystems in which we live, and creating something beautiful together.
