Seeking lease to own property

Land Seeker Description

Family seeking leased own property to start a homestead and business. We would prefer if there is housing already on the property along with barns and water rights. In our long-term goals up to 50 acres would be needed but we could use two to five to start off with if need be.

Our vision is to open our own butcher shop along with our own produce shop and upicks for not just only crops but animals to butcher as well, such as picking your own turkey for Thanksgiving.I would like to incorporate more of a pilgrim event where you can learn how to kill and butcher your own turkey if customers choose to. I would have a little nursery where we sell regular garden plants and make my business more of like a One-Stop shop that people enjoy to spend time at. We would like to have entertainment events and a petting zoo on the property. As well as special events through the year sponsored by local vineyards. I have a few I already have in mind.

I would like to start a pumpkin patch which has a straw maze and hay rides where children can come pick their own pumpkins and go through a haunted house during The Fall season. During the rest of the year it would be a paintball arena.

These are my long term life goals and this is what we are looking for. If by chance you can help us achieve these goals please contact me.

What features of the property are essential?

Building such as barns, storage and water rights are essential to start everything else can be added and we can always upgrade.

Describe your farming experience

I grew up on a farm in ogletown Pennsylvania. Raise many cows horses pigs chickens goats but we did not do any agriculture work. later on in life I ended up tending to 17 horses seven dogs and a donkey I just fell in love with farming. I played around with my own little hobby gardens and whatnot until one day decided to move to Oregon and do it for real.since being in Oregon I've been going around to all the different Farms that I can get jobs on harvesting planning making wine oh my yards really and I cannot get enough of it. I've always been in person of many dreams and goals I grew up with two entrepreneurs as my Mom and Dad. So finding business avenues is not very hard for me as many ideas. I would like to bring a different twist to the culture by incorporating funness to it and making young people want to farm as well. I am also currently seeking going back to school for an agriculture degree as well.
