Land Seeker Description

I am seeking an opportunity to move out of the city now that I am no longer needed to care for elderly family. I put my dream on hold 5 years ago. Now it is my time to pursue it! I currently have a small operation at a friends house until I can find land and expand. Coturnix Quail, king quail, pigeons and doves are my primary passions at the moment but would love to expand that list very soon. Along with the birds I would also like to start an orchard/food forest that would be open to the community to help with and benefit from. I can start with any amount of land, just needs to be rural so I can have more than 12 birds.

What are your short term goals for the land

Expand my current laying stock to fulfill egg needs and meat needs of the community. start the orchard/food garden and be producing fruit from trees around that 5 year mark or sooner. Also start a garden that will produce fresh veggies and berries every year at an affordable price for the communiy. Offer sign up sheets for people to help and earn a share of the harvest if they cannot pay.
