Seeking lease-to-own or other transitional solution for a <50 acre farm to begin my farming career

Land Seeker Description

I’m a 26 year old farmer-to-be. I have dreamt of acquiring my income via various organic agricultural pursuits and I’ve been saving for years to begin my personal farming career. I have studied permaculture on my own for a few years and have lived and worked on various farms throughout Oregon for four years as well.  My partner and I are ready to acquire a small-ish plot of land and begin raising multiple species of animals on pasture, as well as grow any or all of the following: vegetables, fruits and nuts and berries, hemp, and hopefully establish a commercial kitchen on the property to make products such as jams and jerkies and such.  We plan on practicing strictly organic or “beyond-organic” farming methods and selling delivery thru social media and our website, as well as at market(s).

What features of the property are essential?

electricity. water in some fashion, whether that's a decent private well, water rights on the river or even seasonal creek, just need some water as I will store plenty. need some pasture, ideally at least 3-5 acres, silvopasture great. woodlands ok as well.

Describe your farming experience

Managed a herd of 20 hogs rotationally grazed, various farm hand labors in cannabis, poultry, cattle, market gardening, backyard gardening, edible landscaping

Are you currently farming?

What are your short term goals for the land

establish a healthy and independent herd of pastured hogs and/or poultries, build a market clientele focused around on-farm visits and clarity for the consumer . sell cut flowers, fruits / berries, jerkies and jams, market vegetables.

What are your long term goals

develop the family farm into a mostly self sustaining property between fiber, lumber, food, water and medicine while enhancing the property's carrying capacity for all native and / or local beings before acquiring additional pasture access to begin raising cattle on a larger scale.

Describe your housing needs

Do not require a house on the property but it would be greatly beneficial and is much preferred.
