Looking for agricultural land for self-sustainable farmstead producing vegetables/herbs/body products/plant medicines as well as small-scale goat or cow diary production. Will not include animal/meat processing, but will include processing of other value-added products. Farmstead is to include structures and pastures for small-scale milk/cheese production (goats or mini cows). Eventual longer-term goals include opening the established and working farmstead up to others as a learning center that hosts visiting groups and educators with an emphasis on Horticultural, with potential expansion into primitive skills courses and camping retreats.


What features of the property are essential?

water rights, water source near by with public access, private well, not on treated city water, has barn/structure on property, includes pasture or woodland, prefer electricity already established, land that is certified organic with no previous use of chemicals, land that is not near or down wind from any hog or cattle farm, neighbors to property preferably also engage in organic practices.


Describe your farming experience

Experience includes previous co-ownership of 3 acre organic farm and CSA in the Methow Valley, WA for 2 , farm management for multiple farms in
Hana, HI, as well as manager of handmade body products, including intern training and supervision, as well as multiple internships on small scale farming enterprises, Philo School of Herbal Energetics in Philo, CA, and and Sunny Pine Farm, Twisp, WA. Other experience includes School Garden Coordinator for Baldwin High School, Kahlui, HI. (can submit resume for your convenience).

What are your short term goals for the land

Short-term goals include establishing produce/herb/fruit tree gardens and product line of farm-to-table goods for sale at roadside produce stand and other area stores.


What are your long term goals

Long-term goals include receiving income from farm-to-table goods.

Currently renting. Am in need of housing if buying raw land, or a farm property with existing dwelling.


What will you do as a farmer to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for everyone on your farm and in your community?

As a farmer, I strive to offer a safe and inclusive learning environment where people of all ages can come to realize their skills and talents and give back to the land while giving back to themselves. My mission is to create a therapy-centered farm that is trauma-informed and sustainable. It will be a sanctuary for all who need it.
