Seeking Lease to Own or Creative Solution: 5+ Acres SW Washington, Multnomah, Yamhill or Clackamas County

Land Seeker Description

Urban farm growing a variety of vegetables in East Portland on ½ acre plot, looking to expand. Ideal situation would be 5+ acres of land that we could farm a portion of and that is also possibly buildable for future homestead. Lease to own seems more feasible, open to any and all other creative solutions. We are currently a CSA farm and plan to expand that program to help feed the community in which we farm. Would love to add restaurants to our realm as well. Certified Organic is a plus but not a must as we practice organic farming currently as well as no till.

What features of the property are essential?

Water rights and irrigation are a plus. Certified Organic land ideal but open to any land suitable for vegetable farming.

Describe your farming experience

4 years farming experience. Volunteered on a farm outside of hood river for 2 years and now running our own urban farm currently.

Are you currently farming?

What are your short term goals for the land

Lease or lease to own land to establish our farming business within the community and grow CSA.

What are your long term goals

Eventually own the land that we are farming and potentially build a home on the land.

Describe your housing needs

No immediate housing needed. Buildable land a plus for long term plans. Home already on property would also be an option to discuss.
