Seeking Lease to own option or creative solution : 2-5 acres Farm and Wellness Agrotourism

Land Seeker Description

We are a family of 3 seeking the opportunity to steward 2-20 acres of mixed use farm land for the purpose of growing global heirloom varieties, ecotourism and living. Reeba is the founder of a self-care support company, a manufacturer of natural skincare, food value added products, wellness pop ups, Saturday market and farmers market board. Justin works in rideshare and is a mechanic he will help but is not a farmer. Our little one has her own bookmark and crafting company, loves unicorns and dance. We are artists, prefer to grow our own food and forage over supermarkets. We believe everyone deserves access to nutritious food and the knowledge of how to grow them on their own. It would be great if there is a elementary school nearby but our little is currently homeschooled. Although we love living in community, solitude and privacy is also important to us. We love fishing, camping, animals and day trips. What we can offer is over 5 years of growing herbs and flowers.  20 years Marketing, social media and technical experience.  Ability to apply for grants and life dedication to supporting self-care for community by creating access for others and providing the best quality products and services I can. I learn visually and tactile the best. I prefer to create brave spaces over safe spaces and understand growth comes from uncomfortability. I am tenacious, dedicated and ready to learn. Thanks for reading, I look forward to getting to know you.

Describe your farming experience

My farming journey started almost 10 years ago growing vegetables, grapes, herbs and chickens for egg production in my large yard. I sold to coworkers and friends. Through the years I lacked access to enough land to grow on scale but continued to grow herbs and flowers for my family and friends. 2022 is the first year I am taking culinary and medicinal herbs to farmers markets. I will also be creating value added products like sauces, vegan products and skincare.

What will you do as a farmer to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for everyone on your farm and in your community?

To ensure a brave space that is safe and inviting to others I will work to create an environment built on proven trust and open communication.
