Water rights and irrigation are important structures, a barn and electricity would also be favorable.
We are a family with limited experience, but able bodies and an enthusiasm to work hard and learn. We do backyard gardening and keep chickens currently and have had success with this, and would like to learn to do this on a larger scale.
Our short term goals are to sell our home and work a farm while receiving some instruction and mentorship, we are open to a variety of different types of farming, but are interested in having some animals, bees, growing hemp, having an orchard, raising cattle, chickens, etc.
Our long-term plans are to acquire our own farm, we are particularly interested in fruit trees, bees, hemp, and other fruits and veggies, along with cattle, goats, and chickens.
If close to Hood River County we could continue to live in our own home, but we are also interested in selling our home to join a farm and eventually own our own farm.
To contact a land seeker, you must first create a land listing and have it approved by our staff. Thank you.
