My fiancé and I are looking for a lease or rent to own situation. We have a couple horses and would ideally like to have some acreage for them. We would love a place where it would be possible to farm hay or keep some cows at down the road as well. We wouldn’t need a house on the property, something that has electric and a well would be great. We are open to just about anything.
My fiancé has farmed various grains, and we both farmed hay in Colorado for a couple years. We have experience managing farms and ranches as well.
It would be great to have the land be profitable or at least break even, and we would love to make it a long term home eventually. We would just have our horses on the property at first, and I would love to have goats again as well as chickens.
We would love for the farm to be profitable, maybe pasture cows or have a horse boarding business depending on what the land is best suited for. I would like to have a herd of dairy and meat goats to breed and sell, as well as chickens.
We currently live in our 5th wheel, so we would not require housing on the property.
