Seeking lease to own 5 acres

Land Seeker Description

My husband and I are interested in moving our hobby farm to a larger scale. We are growing our family and want to grow our dreams with them.

We currently are growing medicinal mushrooms and raising chickens. We are moving towards complete closed loop with the two. We are hoping to expand the crops and animals we work with to include goats and micro greens.

We will pursue appropriate alternatives for available space.

We need housing for our current family of four.

What features of the property are essential?

Essential features on ideal land would be, water rights, well, electricity, pasture, housing, and woodland.
Will work with space allowing for housing to be added, and pasture without woodland. We would like to have water and electricity reasonably accessible.

Describe your farming experience

My husband grew up on a farm and has a lifetime of experience with horses and cattle.
My experience is limited to passionate backyard gardening.

Are you currently farming?

What are your short term goals for the land

We can start immediately with expanding our chicken and mushroom operation. We would add bees. As we grow we will look to add goats or sheep and fruit trees.
We want to be organic, not certified in a closed loop. Using some biodynamic practices.

What are your long term goals

Long term we want to maintain chickens and goats with bees mushrooms and fruit trees at a capacity that supports the land integrity. We want to own the land and be putting down roots to support our growing family.

Describe your housing needs

We are currently a family of four. My husband and I and our two sons 10 and 2 years old.
