Small family seeking land to create our dream, an organic family farm, orchard, homestead. Interested in creating and growing a Fruit Orchard, berries, other fruits, vegetables, nuts, herbs and possibly some grains if practical.
My partner’s early work experience was primarily organic gardening/farming and landscaping. Organic farming is something he is very skilled, experienced, and passionate about. My early work experience was primarily caregiving & house cleaning. I also have experience working as an independent artist hand crafting natural goods. Whether a blank canvas or space that needs tlc, we love working to bring beautiful visions to life.
Currently I am a homemaker and handcrafter/artist, while my partner has been working as a tree climber/arborist as well as landscaping. We are very creative, caring, hardworking, respectful people and would be very blessed to find the right land opportunity with room to grow our dream, root in, bring our ideas & visions to life, and fully utilize our skills/experience and creativity. We appreciate & enjoy the rural farming lifestyle & find such ways of living to be more healthy, productive, peaceful, and fufilling as oppose to a more modern lifestyle with daily commutes.
Together we were Property Caretakers for a 100 acre historical rural country club & apple orchards. We also managed a mobile home park w/ 60+ residents.
We have experience with fruit and other tree care, vineyards, orchards, organic farms, gardening, landscaping, fencing, firewood, chainsaw milling, some carpentry/building, remodelling, handcrafting, basic applicable equipment maintenance and operation, office work, cleaning, improving and maintaining homes, lands, & farms.
Our plan includes
Utilize current well of skills & knowledge as well as further educate, explore & experiment with additional organic, environmentally friendly farming methods & practices.
Continue to produce variety of handcrafted natural goods, form a niche or few, further develope existing, as well as consider additional new creative sustainable home based possibilities that could develope & exist in harmony with the land, comfortably sustain the farm, family, & contribute healthy and inspiring products locally such as natural home goods and decor, farm gifts, firewood, dried herbs for edible spice and home decor, plant start/tree nursery, processing, preserving, and/or drying farm food into fresh baked or raw goods, fresh nut milks, sauces, teas, etc
Care for, protect, preserve, and enrich the land for current and future generations to come. Grow and provide food that is fresh, healthy and nourishing. Build, maintain, grow and expand the farm with a strong commitment, care and consideration for the health of the land. Use all natural and environmentally conscious products, materials and supplies as much as possible. Live, work, farm “with” the land in a circular manner which provides local sustainability, gives back to the land and ensures it is healthy, abundant and flourishing.
Land that has been farmed organically, or kept free of chemicals and poisons is preferred.
Simply being a kind person in this world, as well as farming, working, living as naturally, sustainably, consciously as possible in rhythm & harmony with nature radiates positivity and can help, heal, and inspire others.

Prefer organic land without use of chemicals or poisons, healthy water source such as spring, creek, and/or well. Indoor work/storage space or ability to create such (such as a garage, large shed, barn)
My partner has a deep well of experience and passion in organic farming for many years including growing & selling salad greens locally. He is very knowledgeable about plants, trees, and mushrooms, identification, optimal health, care, and uses. My farming experience is not nearly extensive as his and has mostly been small family gardens, hands on learning, experimenting as I go.
Assess, plan, gather suplies, prepare land, soil, beds, fencing, irrigation, more planting. Ponder, develope, utilize sales & advertising channels. Produce handcrafted natural products utilizing resources available on the farm and/or locally.
Maintain & improve the farm and existing productions. Consider developing additional creative, sustainable, environmentally conscious, home based products as mentioned in main summary
Ability to utilize an existing dwelling, or bring a mobile dwelling such as mobile home.
