Seeking Lease or Lease-to-Own: 10-20 acres in Willamette Valley

?

Land Seeker Description

Regenerative land steward and experienced grower looking for acreage to lease or lease-to-own for sustainable, organic hemp production.

What features of the property are essential?

Water rights are essential. Organic would be nice as this will be our focus. If there are structures or anything else that is a plus, but is not exactly necessary. Just water and soil!

Describe your farming experience

Over the years I have worked at nurseries(including Peoria Gardens), grass seed farms, marijuana farms, and food production. I have grown commercial organic food and do so currently. I have taken many classes pertinent to farming, including Whole Farms Management courses at OSU, In depth Permaculture certification with multiple certifications and have self studied business and business management for years.

Are you currently farming?

Yes

What are your short term goals for the land

My short term goals are to establish a hemp and plant medicines business.

What are your long term goals

My long term goals are to own my farm, either at this initial location or a few years down the line, after my brand is more established.

Describe your housing needs

I live in the Valley, between Eugene and Corvallis, and do not mind traveling up to an hour each day to get to the site, so I am basically up for anything in the surrounding areas of Salem to Eugene, Corvallis to Sweet Home.
