We are a professional couple looking for land to establish farm.

We both have a production agriculture background with relevant degrees, ready to establish our own mixed-use farm. Looking to plant a few acres of cider apples, a mixed fruit and nut orchard, 1-2 acres of grapevines, 0.5-1 acres of cut flowers, prop houses,  and an area for nursery stock. Looking to graze the orchards and vineyards, use animals for vegetation control throughout the property. We would like to live on the property eventually.

 


What features of the property are essential?

water rights or irrigation would be helpful. Some pasture would also be nice

We both have experience in vineyard management with extensive backyard experience with fruit trees, berries, flowers, and vegetables

What are your short term goals for the land

Grow cut flowers for market and specialty produce. Pasture raised animals


What are your long term goals

Small production vineyard, cider apple orchard, and mixed nut and fruit orchard, truffles

We have stable housing for the next few years but our goal is to live on the farm full time
