Hello!
I am seeking farmland for lease / lease to own / owner contract land. Housing is necessary. Greenhouse is a plus, but not necessary.
I am medicinal herb grower (not cannabis), culinary herb grower, small nursery, and aspiring flower farmer. I am looking to expand and grow cut flowers, medicinal and culinary herbs, storage crops, and have bees. I have 17 years experience–a background in permaculture, regenerative design, sustainable ag, and biodynamic farming.
I also teach Agriculture at Hood River Valley High School, and would like to create opportunities for internships for students to have a model farm to work at.
We are pre-approved for a home loan currently and ready to buy or work with the owner on long term lease/lease to own options.
water, housing, greenhouse (a plus)
17 years in medicinal herb production (non-cannabis) and small nursery production. Specializing in value added products--small batch botanicals.
Grow medicinal herbs. Raise bees. Expand Nursery. Grow cut flowers. Create opportunities for Hood River Valley High School students to have a model farm to intern at--possibly making connections with other organization (Rogue Farm Corps / Hood River Farmers Market) to expand the learning opportunities for high schoolers in the agricultural world.
Lease to own...provide education in partnership with Hood River School District Ag Programs.
Would be great to have housing on property as farming land is a on going relationship. I would love to live where I grow.
Outreach to community through educational programs in medicinal herbs, horticulture, and Ag.
