I recently completed my service in the US Army, leaving me unemployed and at a crossroads in life. My fiancé and I are aspiring small business owners but the high cost of quality land and housing is a major road block. We are seeking access to land that we can incubate an agro-based small business on in Lane County. We intend to incorporate agriculture and agro-tourism into the business model. I would be glad to elaborate on our ideas, plans, and vision. Gardened most of my life, have worked in the landscaping industry, employment at a Willamette Valley vineyard where I was involved with cultivation and wine making.

What are your short term goals for the land

Lease land. Establish small time farm operation with emphasis on agro/eco-tourism. Establish a brand. Integrate into local economy and develop strong relationships with like-minded individuals.

What are your long term goals

Eventually own a property where the established operation can grow, develop, and mature.

Flexible. We currently rent in Eugene.

As new members of the community we have been welcomed into a safe and friendly environment and we see it as our duty to perpetuate that for people of all backgrounds in the community.
