Describe your farming experience

Most recently I managed a farm and property on San Juan Island, WA from 2021-2023. Focus was market vegetables, flowers, fruit and catering. We sold primarily direct to customer via our farm store and farmers market. We also sold to restaurants and local food hub. We also hosted events at business in town where we would set up a "pop up" kitchen and cook farm to table meals.

Are you currently farming?

No

What are your short term goals for the land

Establish a thriving market garden business and presence at farms markets and local food hub, Work with local chefs and restaurants to create standing order and anticipate seasonal needs. Grow a layer hen production, flower production. Cooking classes, farm to table catering ( I currently own a restaurant and have all needed infrustuctre to build out a kitchen on or off site), seed saving, etc. Raise pigs and rabbit for meat.

Maintain said projects, growing laterally - employment and equitable farm housing. Fruit and nut trees, add value products.
