Hi all! We’re a small ranch in Oregon that has been in operation since 2020. In November, we moved our ranch from Douglas county to Lane county, and we are seeking lease land in the area to rotationally graze our cattle on. If the landowner is open to it, we also have the potential to graze a multi-species herd of cattle, sheep, horses, and/or goats, and follow behind the herd with our mobile chicken coop in order to further regenerate the land.
We are open to potential partnerships, work-trade, meat-trade, or traditional lease structures.
Pasture or silvopasture
The owner/operator has seven years of experience farming/ranching and has managed hundreds of acres of irrigation, hay fields, and pasture land along with the care and feeding of cattle, sheep, goats, pigs, rabbits, and poultry. Their experience includes farm work in central Oregon, southern Oregon, the Umpqua Valley, and the Willamette Valley.
Regeneratively grazing animals for the betterment of the land with a once or twice/day rotation schedule.
Continuing to grow healthy food for the local community while caring for the land and animals that make that a possibility.
No housing needed.
We welcome folks from all backgrounds to reach out to us for farming opportunities, knowledge sharing, and community building.
One of our goals for the 2024 season is to implement a “real tax” program into our sales, as was coined by PK Pastures and modeled after the Duwamish “real rent” initiative.
To contact a land seeker, you must first create a land listing and have it approved by our staff. Thank you.
