Seeking land to rent/Lease long term in Ontario Oregon Area.

Land Seeker Description

I have a love of the land and wanting to diversify in to a vegetable and lavender farm. I have been involved in agriculture my entire life. I am looking to get back in to the vegetable side of the business.  Providing fresh produce to the local communities.  My hope  to find someone out there would like to work a deal out long-term to help put this all together.

What features of the property are essential?

Looking for irrigated farm land with irrigation system in place. Either Organic or conventional. Something with some kind of out building would be a big plus. An area to park farm equipment and equipment trailer

Describe your farming experience

I grew up on a row crop farm. I have been involved in row crop and raising cattle my whole life. Experienced in pretty much all aspects of farming. Experienced in operating farm equipment.

What are your short term goals for the land

short term I would like to find land. Get crops established. build a good relationship with land owner and neighbors.

What are your long term goals

Long-term I would like to grow the farm in to a diversified vegetable farm to provide fresh vegetables and other products to the local community.
