Ideally we are looking for a couple of acres that we are able to access with our animals (6 goats, 2 dogs, possibly some chickens and ducks.) Looking to be there mostly during the months of july, august, september, and possibly october. Would are flexible with accommodations. Camping or other arrangements would be fine. We do have electric fencing to set up, and portable housing and all for our animals. Our family consists of myself and my husband and 2 sons, one of which is grown and moved out, and the other who is 10 years old and well behaved. We are hoping to have an alternative location to go to during these months in order to escape the smoke that wildfire season imposes upon us annually, and possible fire danger to our family and animals. Would like to be somewhere that we can drive to the ocean a bit easier than our current location provides. We would be interested in paying to lease for these months or possibly lease to own long term if the opportunity presents itself. We are also open to some work trade. My husband is an irrigation and landscape contractor, also currently studying microbiology and regenerative farming under Dr. Elaine Ingham. I work seasonally as a crafts person for a small company called Shepherds Dream that makes organic wool bedding. We currently have a small farm on 5 acres of land near Mt Shasta Ca. where we provide goatsmilk and dairy products through our herdshare, as well as eggs and some produce. We both also have a love of gardening and my husband does a lot of work with tree pruning and fruit orchards.

Experienced in livestock husbandry, poultry, gardening, orchard work, greenhouse growing, outdoor cultivation, dairy production, and organic land restoration practices.
We love the small scale farming life style and love cultivating healthy, whole, foods and herbs for ourselves and others. Setting the intention to manifest an alternative sight to move our animals and family to seasonally for now but a long term situation would be a plus since we hope to retire to a warmer climate someday.
Ideally, we would love to find some land (2 to 5 acres or so) that we are able to affordably lease to own over time and use seasonally. Eventually we might possibly consider living there full time, if we get sick of the snow country. Or possibly just have the space to put energy into as a vacation spot where we can bring our animals along. We are open to a temporary situation as well for the months of july through September or October.
Since we intend to be there seasonally, we are open to camping or something very basic would be all we require.
