Seeking land to lease/own creating new beginnings in Multnomah County

Land Seeker Description

I have extensive experience on the retail and wholesale sides, and want to now farm. I prefer land to purchase or lease long term, and would ideally build or rent a home for me and my two sons.

What features of the property are essential?

Must have: Water rights, sewer, well, utilities. Would like: barn, home/house, balance of pasture and woodland.

My degree is in ag sciences (dairy and veterinary focus). I've worked in produce for two decades.

What are your short term goals for the land

Ideally I would start with medicinal herbs, chickens, and small livestock. I'm a maker and fiber crafter. Would expand based on needs identified.

What are your long term goals

Understand the needs of the craft industry in and around Portland (food, beverage, distillery, restaurant, and maker community) and build a plan to meet needs.

Describe your housing needs

I need a home (or place to build or place a home) for me and my two sons (3 cats, one livestock guardian dog, and possibly one pig).
