Seeking land lease to own or long term lease in the Willamette valley

Land Seeker Description

I have been farming for ten years around the the corvallis/Philomath area. I have worked in many different roles on farms from cut flowers, hazelnuts, sheep, pastured eggs, vineyard management/ wine making to creating my own farm (Red Bird Acres).  I am now looking for land that I can see for the long term and work with a land owner who has a vision for creating radical food. I am very aware of what it takes to create a farm from the ground up and the hurdles we will have to jump through.

Describe your farming experience

I have worked in many different aspects of food production in the Willamette valley. From Interning on pasture based livestock farms, working Hourly on vineyards, flower farms and other farm businesses, to creating my own livestock farm Red Bird Acres

What are your short term goals for the land

Gettting established. Understanding the seasonality of the land and developing a good relationship with the land owner

What are your long term goals

Creating some of the best charcuterie in the world. Making a tasting room and creating experiences that people form all over the world want to come and experience.

Describe your housing needs

Minimal, rustic, maybe with a possibility of me bring an airstream on site
