Hello,
Im Nick,
I have a strong desire to farm my own food and start a plant nursery business. I am seeking land that ideally has living accomodations on site. Would need water for growing nursery plants. I have interest in raising animals and growing vegetables though i plan on starting slow and building up. I work outside doing park maintenance and have grown plants with limited space and need an area where I can really expand. Im guessing 1-3 acreas would fit my needs.
In this venture I would likely be sharing property with the land owners. it should be known I am an excellent tenant. I pay on time, dont hold large parties or make any noise. I am someone who seeks to build a homestead and farming/nursery business and I enjoy gaining new knowledge in those areas. While it may take some time to build up, my farming interests include: goats, chickens, ducks, aquaponics, rabbits, bees, vegetables as well as native and ornamental shrubs and trees….oh, fruit trees too!
If ive contacted you and youre reading this feel free to ask me any questions you may have.
Thank you
Nick
If I raise livestock they would need shelter, if not currently available would be willing to build with land owners permission. Need water for animals, vegetable garden and nursery plants.
Ive grown my own vegetables in back yard without using pesticides as well as various different ornamental shrubs and trees. I have worked landscape/park maintenance for years and am familiar with tractors, mowers, gas powered equipment and hand tools.
Grow and store my own vegetables, build up nursery inventory for sale of healthy shrubs and trees, raise goats and bring to auction or create meat CSA,
establish a small orchard
Grow a market for rabbit, goat and quail meat. grow an excess of vegetables to sell to local groceries, restaurants and individuals, transition nursery business to fulltime income source
small residence, ideally 1-2bedroom/1 bath. full kitchen. washer/dryer availability
I have no issue sharing what knowledge I have or may gain in the future with anybody that wants to learn from my enterprise.
To contact a land seeker, you must first create a land listing and have it approved by our staff. Thank you.
