I’m an ambitious 22 year old woman who was born in Poland, raised on the east coast, and is looking to go back to the farming life here in the US. I’m experienced in horticulture, gardening, permaculture design, organic pest management, and research. I studied at The Pennsylvania State University in the College of Agricultural Sciences. I enjoy DIY projects and anything that focuses on sustainability. I’ve been focusing on growing from seed and seed saving recently and hope to one day have a self-sustaining homestead and to open my own nursery business with my partner.
Electricity, house on property
I was born on a family farm in Poland and would often help with farming activities. After we moved to America I would only go back during the summers but would still take care of livestock, help with harvesting, cleaning the barn, taking cattle to the pasture, harvesting honey, making cheese, foraging, training dogs, and chopping wood. In New Jersey/Pennsylvania I've grown various herbs, veggies, berries, and flowers throughout the years. I've grown in garden beds, containers, and even in indoor hydroponic systems. I was a long time member of the Student Farm Club at my university as well, where I was the team leader for all vermicomposting projects. My partner is skilled in electronics, engineering, wood working, and has roughly equal farming experience/knowledge as myself.
Getting the land ready for long term permaculture farming, start plant nursery business, possibly grow hemp. Plant trees, perennials, and raise small livestock.
Grow a permaculture food forest, become largely self-sustainable, expand nursery business.
Small one to two bedroom would be nice. Not looking for a large home, somewhere for me and my partner and cat to sleep and feel safe and ideally somewhere I can set up good internet for my business.
To contact a land seeker, you must first create a land listing and have it approved by our staff. Thank you.
