I am a 23 year old nature loving man with a small flock of sheep, a dog, and dreams of as much land as I can handle. Would like to be involved with garden, farm, orchard, wild crops, + animals, whether mine or yours. In the past I have rented land for my own small farm, work traded at a vineyard, and partnered on a cannabis production garden.
I am open to any relationship with landowners
My long term vision in life is to establish my family, or even a village in a landscape where nature and farm interface, to cultivate diverse riches at every scale possible. For now, I seek to learn and practice toward that end.
*The land I rent now is being put on the market and I need somewhere to resettle by October 2023.
Available water is essential, other than that I'm a very flexible person but a barn would be great, so would a home, existing fences, and
woodland.
I have been learning to farm since 2018/19 and have worked on a horse ranch, partnered on a cannabis farm, grew vegetables, free ranged birds, had goats for milk and mohair, and now have sheep. Most of what I've done the past couple years has been trial and error learning at small scale.
Breed sheep to establish a profitable dairy flock, continue to breed plants.
To raise a market garden, increase my sheep stock, sell milk, start making cheeses etc and sell lamb
Also interested in custom meat processing.
To own land and practice agroforestry, animal husbandry and produce fine fresh and aged products, wool, and breeding stock in sheep.
To eventually grow an employee-owned company.
To own large(r) acreage, build a lovely home from naturally occuring materials.
Tend to the forest and waters, grow perennial fruits, breed plants both anciently cultivated and locally wild, raise and breed meat, dairy, and fiber animals.
Provide a free and safe environment for families.
I am flexible in the housing department. I would gladly rent land with or without modern housing. I can live in my van if need be.
Treat everyone fairly and lead with respect, honor, and courtesy . Do my best to be humble and courteous and help my neighbors.
To contact a land seeker, you must first create a land listing and have it approved by our staff. Thank you.
