I am seeking a farm or ranch in which the owners wish to retire or slow down. I’d be interested in working with them on some arrangement in which I can lease, crop share, or even purchase the operation. I have managed a 2,200 irrigated hay farm in SE Oregon for the past 7 years as well as owned small irrigated hay acreages and livestock. I’d be interested in most types of operations but more specifically hay, livestock, or crops.
Water rights, structures (shop, barn, etc.).
I grew up on a farm. I've owned some smaller hay farm acreages. I have been managing a 2,200 acre irrigated hay farm for the past 7 years.
To execute an arrangement to take over and hopefully purchase a retiring farmer or ranchers operation.
My intentions are to develop a farm to where I can make a living off the farm. I'd like to generate a crop or product that helps feed humanity. I'd prefer a farm where I could potentially integrate organic and regenerative farming practices. The very short term plan would be to establish a plan with the landowner on the arrangement and potential purchase or long term lease or partnership.
I'd like to develop the plan in a way that meets the needs of all parties and generates a livelihood for my family and myself.
Housing would be preferred buy not necessary.
Be open to agritourism and be a teacher of the agricultural knowledge I possess.
