My family and I (my partner Sarah and our Saint Bernard Brutus) are searching for somewhere between 5-20 acres that we are able to continue/improve upon the farming that is currently taking place. We are seeking land that has been cultivated organically/traditionally and want to continue this method of crop cultivation. While my background is in large scale organic vegetable & mushroom cultivation, I have worked the last 3.5-4 years in medical and non medical cannabis in Western Pennsylvania. We are moving to Oregon in mid October and will need a residence on the land.
water rights. woodland, organic
Farming was introduced to me at a young age by my grandfather, who had several acres of vegetables and trees on his farm. I worked on his farm growing up and after graduating from Penn State I began working as a head grower for several CSA farms in western PA. Since about 2018 I have been working in medical and nonmedical cannabis cultivation, both indoors and outdoors.
We want to immediately implement a vegetable, mushroom, and deciduous/coniferous tree cultivation plan. With this, we want to focus on developing the land and returning it to a semi-natural state where eventually it will require less maintenance and return greater yields/biodiversity.
We are trying to develop a year-round farm that is diverse, productive, and sustainably managed. This of course will take time and we are open to staying with the farm as long as possible to bring this goal to light.
We will need full housing for myself, partner and dog.
To contact a land seeker, you must first create a land listing and have it approved by our staff. Thank you.
