Seeking 40 to 80 acres ready for cattle. 5-7 year lease, lease to buy, creative solutions are open

Land Seeker Description

Disabled veteran looking to start my family farm. Prefer a lease option as I am just starting out. Eventually looking to purchase a farm for cattle to live and raise. I have worked on a farm most of my life and my parents still own a large farm with 200 head of cattle on the coast. Will need water rights and would a least like a hay barn. Capable of fixing fence and normal farm work.

What features of the property are essential?

Irrigation is essential. I would also prefer a hay barn as well.

Describe your farming experience

I have been working my parents farm for over 30 years. Skilled in hay management, cattle and various other animals.

Are you currently farming?

What are your short term goals for the land

Short term goals are to make a profit over the next 5 years. Eventually I would like to purchase a larger farm with house /shop/barn for kids to do 4h and ffa as well.

What are your long term goals

Long term I would like to expand to larger land for raising cattle. Owning my own farm and expanding from there as finances allow

Describe your housing needs

Would love to lease a farm with a house with the option to buy. However, since I'm just starting out, bare land for cattle would suffice. Will need irrigation.
