Seeking 2-10 acres near Portland

Land Seeker Description

We are currently backyard gardeners but would like to take the next step to farming. I worked several seasons on a relative’s berry farm growing up and spent 4 years in the Navy. We would like to have chickens, someday pigs, and grow produce to sell at farmer’s markets.

What features of the property are essential?

Water and electricity

Describe your farming experience

Backyard produce and about 3 seasons on a berry farm as a kid.

Are you currently farming?

What are your short term goals for the land

I’d like to start by selling at farmer’s markets and eventually to restaurants. I’m interested in garlic, fruit trees, hemp, and berries specifically but would like to have a variety of produce growing to see what works.

What are your long term goals

Depending on what the land supports, we’d like to have more livestock and build a sustainable and reputable farm that serves the community.

Describe your housing needs

We are hoping for a detached house or trailer on the land or hookups for a tiny house.
