Im looking for an established homestead/farming collective community in the NW part of the state. Im interested in raising poultry and farming vegetables and possibly goats for meat and milk is the land permits. I am interested in low or no till farming methods. I am looking for a living space to be available as well which could be an RV, yurt or tiny house.
Water rights is ideal but I can also do dry farming. Id love access to pasture for goats.
My farming experience includes caring for 20 laying hens, 6 milk goats doing daily hand milking of the 2 milk goats. Basic farm labor including setting and moving electric fencing, fence maintenance, cleaning stalls, feeding and watering animals, weeding and planting cover crop.
Id like to start with laying hens and meat birds immediately. Followed by preparing an area for vegetable planting.
Long term Id like to be able to offer a mixed vegetable and poultry CSA to the community.
I am looking for a living space as well which could be an RV, yurt or tiny house for myself and my 12 year old son. We also have a small dog.
I think its important to make a safe space for everyone regardless of race, gender, or identification. I am vocal in opposing hatred and do not tolerate it in my company.
To contact a land seeker, you must first create a land listing and have it approved by our staff. Thank you.
