I am looking for a place to develop a sustainable Homestead. The short-term goal would be for the land to support myself and my family. The long-term goal would be to provide local employment and sustainable resources to the community.
open to discussion and circumstances
I am grew up in Eastern Washington, in a farming community. I grew up on and around farms and Ranch Land. We kept livestock, maintained Gardens and Orchards. I spent a decade working in and managing restaurant. I then spent another decade in higher level business management and accounting. I am now ready to step away from the faster Pace lifestyle and return back to my roots. The mass consumption, waste and unhealthy eating practices that I saw have made me passionate about living a more sustainable life and having healthier food sources. I want to apply my business skills and knowledge learned in the corporate world to farming practices with the main goal of promoting sustainable and local resources for healthier living for all.
Experiment with multiple growing methods. Berry patches and fruit trees planted. Gardening plot established. Possible Community Garden area and Farmers Market
Fruit trees in production. Farmers Market established and hosting seasonal community events. Corn maze, pumpkin patch oh, you pick field etcetera
A small house would be ideal. I do have a 30 foot travel trailer I could live in. Water and sewer and electric hookups would be preferred. Any and all outbuildings could and would be utilized. Greenhouses, garden shed, work shed, garage, shop, Barn, Etc.
