Looking for a paternship on land for a permaculture farm near Eugene

Land Seeker Description

I plan on creating an organic permaculture commercial farm based on a cooperative model,  selling through CSA and at the farmer’s market.

I can help to create a collective which will take on the responsibility for a year-round permaculture farm.

I am a team builder, don’t smoke, have gathered experts in permaculture and watershed, etc, I am now ready to apply the ideas.

I have started a non-profit and am working on creating LC3 in case it can be useful for a farm’s legal agreement.

What features of the property are essential?

any soil can be worked with, even if it is clay, it just needs to be drained etc
so the most important is to find a land owner that wants to partner.
of course water rights are important, well, again I am learning so it would depend on the right fit with the people who own the land and then the rest could be worked out. I would want to work with a partner and figure it out together.

Describe your farming experience

I know many experts and have been listening to mentors. I was part of a farming project years ago and learned to drive a tractor and about solar power.
I am in many conversations with farmers and have been reading and connecting with people around the world working on permaculture farms.
I have been bringing people together for years, we are creating a network of farms.
I have had the vision of the farm for 30 years
I am ready to implement the ideas I am learning about.

Are you currently farming?

No

What are your short term goals for the land

I plan on creating an organic commercial farm based on a cooperative model, growing vegetables, fruit, and herbs to sell through CSA and at the farmer's market.
The amount we would grow would depend on the farmland and the partnership.
I am open to collaborating with a team for the farm and coming up with the vision together.

What are your long term goals

The plan for the future is to expand and create a permaculture farm that could continue and be passed on to the next generation.
One model I would like to work with is to have chickens and possibly goats when we have enough people to be in charge of each aspect of the cooperative farm.

Describe your housing needs

If I were to live to work on the farm I would move from my home and live there

What will you do as a farmer to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for everyone on your farm and in your community?

I am great a team building and would work to make sure this is an all inclusive farm.
